Whatever happened, maybe it was the visualizing. I fell asleep around 1 I think. Didn't lay in bed TOO long, maybe 15 minutes. I woke up at 7:48 and waited for my alarm to go off (switched it to 8). lol. Then I got up instantly.

Have you tried a vibrational watch alarm, where the alarm vibrates to wake you up? If you're sensitive to light, have you tried setting a light timer on your lamp? |
Not so sensitive to light, usually it will wake me up but I can easily sleep through it if I'm tired enough. Vibrational will probably work, because vibrations from my phone wake me up if it's close enough. I will try that.
