I didn't like it. I expected a lot more than common sense and the basics of good interpersonal relationships. The many simplistic examples also gave me nothing. There was no ambiguity in the anecdotal situations Carnegie used to illustrate his points. Life isn't so clear cut.
That said, I think it'll serve as a good reminder during those times when I find social interaction not going my way. I also know that I could do a lot better at influencing people, but I've never had a problem with making friends, and rarely have a need to influence people. So ultimately the book isn't all that relevant to me at this point in time (nor was it when I read it a few months ago).
