Maybe a better question would be, why do I feel compelled to lumber myself with a job wherein many other people have opinions on how I am not up to the job?
I had a career once. Thankfully it only lasted 5 years before I saw the light.
Ask not what a corporation can do for you, ask what the hell you're doing in one in the first place.
Look for a vocation rather than a career. I'm not a strong believer in aptitude tests. After all they only measure what you have focused your efforts on up till now. It says nothing about your future which changes with every decision you make.
