I am a manifestation of your thoughts. You believe I exist; therefore, I exist. My existence will be subject to your expectations. If you believe I can be helpful to you, then I will be helpful. If you believe I am misguided, then that will be your experience of me." |
How do you feel about it? What does it do to you?
The problem is, most will read that statement (or read the relating articles), and stop there. They read it, accept it is true (or not), and leave it at that. No one goes any further.
The violence of the world is created by our projected thoughts. It is true to say that no one has ever met anyone; they only meet with their ideas about the other person. But no one questions it.
Why should we do that? Is there something other than the thoughts we live in? Is it possible to see without the projected thought? Question it.
When you question the process of projection, and you come to a conclusion, what is it that tells you the answer? What brings you to the conclusion? Is it also thought? If it is, can you trust the conclusion? That would be using thought to escape from thought. You will still be stuck there.
This may be simple or complicated, I don't know. I am not saying that it is a method to use to be free of something, but if you see with your ideas / beliefs / thoughts, etc., and you question things from there, you cannot see the reality of what you are questioning; you can only see the conclusions you come to through your ideas / beliefs / thoughts. Does that make any sense?
To be free of that mechanism of projection, there can be no conclusions.
People accept that there is a projection, but they don't see the danger there. They don't inquire into it, or wonder what they can see without their projected thoughts.
If one lives a life of projected thoughts, one lives a life of violence.
I am not at all sure that I am able to make myself clear at times. That is the main reason for my website,
Takuin.com. I needed a place to figure out how to say these things. Also, posting in this forum from time to time helps form that language. This is very helpful to me.
