It's an interesting article but it suffers from exactly the same problem that I've already brought up; on the quantum level, absolutely true. On the macro not so relevant. Think of it like this;
Someone shouts at you from across a field. They use a megaphone and they manage to hit around about 120db (I'm not entirely sure what is reasonable here, but whatever) They then move away another field and shout again at 120db. You hear them but they've become quieter because they're further away. For the sake of convenience let's say the energy of the sound-waves is halved so when it reaches you, it has been reduced to 60db.
The further the person moves, the more fields away, the quieter the sound becomes. Now clearly at some point, after say 10 fields it will become impossible to hear them anymore - they've become too quiet.
Here's the twist though - this person doesn't just move away 10 fields - they actually hop onto a jumbo jet and travel the equilavent of 1,000,000 fields away. Now if it was impossible for you to hear at the level of 10 fields how likely is it that such an event would occur at 1,000,000 fields.
This is quantum physics; impossible and ridiculous odds examined by physicists because nothing gives a phycisist an erection more then the impossible. Heck I'm getting one right now typing this up (I jape). The point is people cannot comprehend from a scientific stand-point how unlikely it is that you could effect the universe with your thoughts alone. You'd probably have to sit through 1000 lifetimes of the universe before you saw any results. Or you could get up and start acting on those thoughts. No need for magic middlemen or helpful probabilities; hard work, effort and consistency. Your hands change the universe not your thoughts.
