Without more details it's hard to give specific advice, but...
  • See if you can do your current career part-time, and your new career part-time
  • See if you can find an employer in your new career that will pay or help pay for training (small companies are your best bet)
  • See if your fiance can pitch in with an extra job or some overtime
  • See if you can generate income from some side jobs or a part-time job. Build up savings before you make the move.
  • Take night classes until you're qualified for an entry-level job or internship in your new career
  • Check your expenses and see how much you can reduce them (remember that it'll suck to be without cable for several years, but you're making this sacrifice for your new, fulfilling career)
