From what I've experienced and read, this is typical when you first start to get your subtle energy moving; your system isn't used to it, and you will have blockages and dormant channels, etc. It's the energetic equivalent of exercising muscles you didn't know you have. Only you don't have awareness of your energetic body the way you do of your physical body, so you can't just say, "Ow, my glutes are sore!"

So it sounds like you're moving energy in your meditation, which can be a good thing, but can have side effects like what you've described. The good news is that as you practice, it should subside because you're energy channels will clear up and activate. But the downside is, if you activate without balancing, it can take a while for things to settle down. Try to focus on your connection to the ground as you meditate. Imagine roots extending from your legs deep into the earth grounding out the excess energy.

Also, where do you focus your attention when you meditate? Try to hold your awarenes just behind and below your navel rather than anyplace higher, like the third eye.

Let me know how it goes.
