Clean out your attic and garage; have a yard sale or sell the stuff on eBay ( http://www.ebay.com). If you want your business enough you'll find the money. Perhaps it can come from family or friends, your savings, credit cards, your bank, or the SBA ( http://www.sba.gov/). If you want it bad enough you will figure how to do it. Just don't panic, and never, ever give up. |
That is excuse #1 I hear when I talk to people. My response - "Of course you don't have the money - otherwise you wouldn't be contacting me to figure out how you can make more of it."
Here is what seperates job seekers who think they are business seekers from real business seekers - job seekers want to start a business for free. ON WHAT PLANET?
Businesses require money to start - plain and simple. People who tell me straight up that if there is an investment involved they are not interested get a response from me that typically goes like this - "It sounds to me like you are looking for a job to work from home. When you are looking for a business, get back to me"
As for getting the money to start - I know a guy who hocked almost all his "stuff" to get started, including couches and is now making a multiple six figure income. I know several people who borrowed the money from family or friends and are now tracking a multiple six figure income. I know someone who had to decide between paying bills or advertising and is now a multi-millionaire.
People who say they have no money are absolutely looking for an excuse to go back to maintaining and are nowhere ready to start in a business for themselves because I have seen enough examples to know that if someone truly wants something - nothing can get in their way.
