I think the part that hit home to me was position coming from power, not the other way around. A lot of times, it seems like we are "stuck" in a position without power, and that if we can just get a promotion, or get someone else elected, or whatever, we could have more power to change the things we want to change. Of course, this will remain a pipe dream if we keep such disempowering beliefs around.
We already have the power, but it's a matter of using it to lead. Coincidentally, I also heard Wayne Dyer's podcast today, in which was mentioned the analogy of the rivers and the sea. Why do the rivers follow the sea? Because the sea is below the rivers. People who serve will naturally lead.
