OK, I calmed down from being critical of the idea that posters could have a share. My reaction was based on some assumption of what this forum is about. That it's about sharing freely and not having judgments on worth. I guess there's a built in judgment because some threads just die out of democracy, but some threads that don't die are running nuts with flames going.
It's an interesting idea but can't see the practical way that it would work. The best real idea was to put a donate button on your signatures.
Still, forums are not like books or individuals' blog with ads.
