On page 203 Steve objects to eating "rotting, decaying flesh"; surely rotting decaying produce would also be unpleasant. "A living being violently killed" could be a cow or a carrot. Slaughterhouses experience massive employee turnover... agriculture does, sure; consider migrant pickers. Animals are pets or food; plants are flowers or crops. Living beings reduced to dollar signs include crops, right?
