Wow, congrats man. It's great that you've taken stock of your investment in PD, and have concrete results to show for it. I like to regularly make tectonic shifts in my life. In the past year, I have:

1. Quit a long-term contract I was unhappy with. It paid well, but there's no amount of money that can compensate for having your life force drained out of you. I also wanted to change the technologies I working with.

2. Took massive action socially. I too started off looking at the seduction community, though I'd like to think I've moved past that now, into a more heart-centered approach to authenticity and social engagement. I never identified with the term "pickup artist" and always felt that most of that scene talks about surface improvements, rather than actually fixing the underlying issues, which are largely rooted in the ego.

In fact, I'm currently making a habit of meeting one new person a day. This is awesome fun, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to break out of their shell.

3. Became a Ruby on Rails consultant. I'd wanted to switch to this platform for a while, so I did. Now I mainly rely on consulting as a tool for transitioning to true self-employment (see next point!)

4. Started a company. I've been wanting to create my own ideal job forever, so a few months ago, I got started. I launched 30 sleeps on July 1.

I feel most alive in my discomfort zone. I wrote about this yesterday on my blog:
The Joy of Living Dangerously
