I didn't know there were some Norwegians on here. It must be like a nightmare...
Norway was the last Scandinavian country (excluding Iceland) untouched by this type of violence. These countries, especially on the Scandinavian Penninsula, were known to be havens of peace.

Sweden also has had its share of run-ins with murderous neo-nazis, and I think significantly fewer incidents perpetrated by Islamic types, or attempted incidents. I've sometimes wondered if the Sverige Demokrater, or their supporters, will start doing things like this. These people cultivate hatred like nothing I've ever seen - and I had the misfortune, just a few months after arriving in Sweden, to meet two supporters of the Sverige Demokrater and they were as filled with hatred as lack of brains. Stupid people with power is a scary combination. (Not referring to the one who carries this kind of thing out, but to the idiots who support these neo-nazi political parties and ideologies - based on the "logic" I heard from the supporters I met here.)

Now the guy is saying he will explain himself in court on Monday.
