The real trick is to not get too distracted (i.e. stuck in our thoughts, stuck in our need to be right), unfocused, or blocking ourselves from our true expression.
One way to imagine what responding would be like all the time, would be to imagine how it would feel to start life over with consciousness and acknowledgment:
Imagine being born and the whole community welcomes you. Your parents have a love and wisdom that seems beyond your comprehension, and because of that it encourages you onward. Because you are allowed to be yourself, you learn and remember things at a rapid rate, and by the time you're a teenager, you are already finding ways to give back to your community. You feel a deep abiding sense of love, wisdom, gratitude, compassion, understanding in each moment. You find yourself at exactly the right place at the right time.
Because you have always been internally-validating, and because your family and community have always supported you, you embody your life purpose at an early age and begin to have spiritual experiences at young age - epiphanies, intuition, sudden knowing, etc. As you realize that time/space is more malleable that what science has taught, you begin to freely communicate with a variety of spirits - angelic, pan realm, humans who are out of body.
Your life continues to unfold at a rapid rate so that your consciousness even surpasses your parents, which you extend to the greater service of your immediate community and the world. You find that you can connect with everyone you meet, and that your partner and children help unfold your vision of life in their own way - freely communicating in the moment. Feelings of gratitude and reverence permeate your entire body, as you continue to unfold gracefully for the rest of your blessed life.....
Now if this is what responding leads to, why would we ever choose not to be present with ourselves? |
