Steve on building his first business:

"What got me through the lean years wasn't the promise of greater wealth down the road. It was noticing how much I was growing every month by facing and tackling the various challenges that came up. Even when you're losing, a game can still be fun if you observe that you're becoming a better player."

This one is really inspiring to me today.
