I was at both of these two, and I felt the difference was also very largely impacted by the different format Steve used for the workshop. There was a lot more planned interaction between people in #2 whereas #3 was a lot "drier", so that had a huge impact it seems to me on the social aspect of the workshop.

I'm interested in the Subjective Workshop too. I don't yet know if I'll go as that depends on other factors, and I don't feel it's a "must-go" workshop. I feel more like it'll be a fun and interesting workshop though if I make it. If the stars align, I'll go, if not, I won't.
