My idea about the higher reality is that we are connected to it in a way that requires calm dignity in all dealings with it. That's my perspective.

As for the choosing of your own perspective: that's your prerogative.
The perspective is essentially the equivalent of one's style of spirit work. Mine is based in a fusion of Rosicrucian and Shamanistic principles, while his is a bit different, and maybe he could enlighten us as to his inspirations if he feels it's worth mentioning.
It's the results that dictate whether your perspective is right for you. Every soul channels different amounts of different archetypes of humanity, and so every soul's individual perspective on the higher realities speaks to a higher efficiency with certain archetypal principles.
Hopefully this makes sense, because once you get past the verbal semantics, it's really a very simple concept.
