Great point - I agree! I went through the "what's my purpose" phase last year. I did the thing Steve wrote about where you write down what it could and once you find your purpose you cry (didn't even get close). I thought about it a lot. I created a lot of anxiety for myself going through this, because I expected something grand. What I'm discovering for myself is how "ordinary" things like this can be. Maybe that's why I tend to overlook certain truths - I expected George Burns to pop up and say "here are the answers to your questions and here is your purpose!" so I overlooked the ordinariness of things like intuition and purpose. Some people may have a grander purpose or perhaps they simply make a grander purpose for themselves. So far, for me, it's to have fun and be happy and I typically do that by growing/evolving in some way.
