This is my direct experience, in fact. And once the fears (in the form of resistance, attachment, whatever) are gone, my reality shifts and manifestations happen, sometimes with shocking speed and ease.

Thank you for the framing here. That it's actually FEAR. I have tended to frame it as "belief" or "attachment" or something else benign or neutral, but you're completely correct. It all comes from FEAR, plain and simple.
