There aren't words for how ironic it is that you just asked this, wolfgang...

I just now did this for my girlfriend who lives over almost 1000 miles away...

Basically, I did the following:

1) I used most of the energy in this to create a shield of energy around her, protecting her from outside influences.

2) I then asked her to open up her heart, and feel her belly getting warm, and bright, as if the sun were warmly shining inside her, and filling up her skin.

3) I finally asked her to feel it cooling off in an instant.

I asked her if she felt anything. She did. I asked her if it was like a small lightbulb sized warmth and brightness (which I saw inside her actual aura), and she said yes.

So basically, as far as your other questions go:

regarding tai-chi, everything you mention, I experience and use, yes.

You can actually use the intentional chi motion to defy your center of gravity. I use it to basically lean completely in a given direction without falling, and then lean the other way without really using much energy.

As for the solar plexus:

- The opening of the heart for my girlfriend's point of view is essentially a preparation to open a chakra.
- The belly warmth is the symbolic opening and use (simultaneous) of the solar plexus.

I was lying in my bed with my back all twisted and not at all symmetrical...

I've never been one for mudras or anything like that, but if you use it, it's a good idea to keep your back straight and your balance perfect.

Finally, channeling the Sun's energy is basically like an injection without a needle: you just fill it into a person and it's there.
