Amazing Journaling Idea I was chatting with a successful friend of mine, and the subject of journaling came up. It’s something I’ve struggled with for some time. Yes, the most successful people do it. To me, it seems like more of a chore.
My friend Jason showed me something that is so simple it just might work. He suggested that I use my journaling time to record what I’ve accomplished over the course of a day. His reasoning is as follows:
1) It makes me write
2) It makes me focus on positive things
3) It makes me center my thinking on all I’ve gotten done
In the past, I’ve turned in for the night and thought to myself “I didn’t really do very much today”. Now I have the opportunity to consult my journal and read in my own handwriting how MUCH I really did accomplish and why I should celebrate the day.
Please let me know if this technique is of value!
