Yes, I definitely think your idea of the devil's gene makes sense.
I have a neurological disorder which, during the Spanish Inquisition, was considered a sure sign of Satanic possession, which was "cured" by torture.
So yeah, I think I have it, but I also know for certain that it carries with it a choice to be a Lightworker or a Darkworker.
I had the choice in 3rd grade, where I had to choose between the two, and I chose Lightworker.
I think it was then that the Sun decided to do what I can only describe as an exaltation of my spirit, because since 3rd grade I've been inhumanly lucky and almost meteoric in my gaining of power. I also have found every fiber of my being to be disgusted by the idea of any kind of dark work.
I also know that the gene does not always come out in a person. Not only that, but I think the gene is often formed piece by piece until it forms in a single birth.
I was the first-born of my family, and there are parts of my neurological disorders on all sides of the family.
