Stage performers do have better or worse days. It's just at some level of skill this is not noticeable to the audience. Besides, stage performers have more opportunities to recharge then many office workers.
That is just a couple of counterexamples.
However your advice is interesting. Being accountable does help to keep going through the less successful days. And it motivates people to do something about this low energy. If no one is there to see, it would be easier to sleep through the day, which is harmful.
FreelanceWanderer. Try unplugging, try doing physical instead of mental activity and vice versa. Such changes can quickly recharge you. This way you will "waste" an hour or two on something that is beneficial to you instead of wasting the whole day supporting the ineffective pattern.
