The Sun enters Cancer today, where it will transit until July 23rd. Our attention turns to our nest - our families, homes, and anything that makes us feel "at home", safe, and secure. Nurturing and taking care of our loved ones and our pet projects comes into focus. Emotions run deep. We are more susceptible to the ups and downs of the Moon while the Sun is in Cancer. A square between Mercury and Saturn can bring challenges to our communications and transportation. Communications may be blocked or delayed, and negative thinking could dominate at this time. Projects we thought were complete may need revision, and others could appear overly critical, insensitive, or sarcastic. It may be difficult to trust our instincts, and we second-guess things automatically under this influence. The Moon is in Pisces all day.

This can be a very dreamy day - strong for creativity but not a good time for brand new endeavors. The Moon is in Neptune-ruled Pisces all day and is also void of course all day. Mars squares Neptune early into the day, and energy levels can be variable. Although intuition is heightened, it may be faulty, influenced by fears or hopes. However, the Sun in trine to Neptune later in the day tends to inspire enhanced instinctual judgment. It can be a good time for self-improvement programs and efforts. We are able to see matters, and people, from a different perspective--one that allows for, and in fact finds beauty in, differences.
