I feel exactly the same way, especially when you say that you'd give up all of your acquaintances for one real friend you could connect to on a deeper level. The deeper level is what matters.

I did happen to notice though that you started a thread on how to make friends in college and you said you do have friends but would like to make more. I'm assuming these friends do not give you the relationship you're looking for. How do you feel making friends for you has been as an introvert in college?
