Sweet! All three of my top favorite books were mentioned:
Psycho-Cybernetics, The Power of the Subconscious Mind, and Think and Grow Rich. I vouch for all three but Psycho-Cybernetics is my personal favorite since it was the very first book that REALLY hit home with me.
I've been thinking negatively for about 14 years. I still need some work here and there, but I have improved significantly in a short time period. If you're really focused on changing yourself for the better, you'll see fast results. Here's a quote from "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" that really helped me out with negative thinking:
"If you find yourself beset with an abnormal fear, you must strive to move mentally to the opposite. If you remain at the extreme of fear, you will suffer stagnation plus mental and physical deterioration. When fear arises, one of the basic laws of the subconscious mind immediatelyi brings with it a desire for something opposite to the thing feared. Place your attention on the thinig immediately desired. Get absorbed and engrossed in your desire. Know the subjective always overturns the objective. This attitude will give you confidence and lift your spirits. The infinite power of your subconscious mind is moving on your behalf. It cannot fail. Therefore, peace and assurance are yours."
So simple yet effective. Whenever any type of negative thought comes to mind, I simply think the opposite of that, which is something positive that I desire. It's really simple to do and if you're consistent, you'll feel the results quickly. Hope this helps
