No, it exists because countless years of conditioning have convinced us gravity would kill you... the "leap" of faith is too great.
But still, this is the way you see the world, you see people believing in gravity and surviving and people disbelieving and not living-- you have perceived that in your lifetime and are sharing that with us. I have perceived it too... we both are talking about something we have both experienced, and that's two people agreeing so we now say it is objective fact... in your subjective opinion that it's objective, mine too. So that's two subjective perspectives talking about objective stuff.... which is my "point", super elementary, that the only way you and I are ever going to experience life is through a subjective lens.
But I can see why SR makes people think they are going nuts.
