Well, I've tried and failed twice to switch to a polyphasic schedule. The first time I made it about 14 days but I overslept so much that it must've slowed down my adaptation, and I also had to be up for 10 hours straight 3 days a row after that and I slowly went back to normal. The second time it lasted about 5 days, but I overslept every day, and eventually I just started sleeping 6 hours a night with no combination of alarm clocks able to wake me for any reason. (I had succesfully adapted to ignore alarm clocks, but had failed at adapting to less sleep) I was thinking about trying it again and actually sticking it through (with new alarm clocks, including a vibrating one I just ordered), but I know I'm going to have to do a few 14-16 hour straight days in about a week from now, so I'm deciding whether I should wait until after that, or what.
I know, my track record is pretty pathetic! But I'm determined to at least once fully adapt. Let us know how dymaxion works for you, I was thinking about trying Dymaxion myself because if it works it would work much better with my schedule. I'm also thinking of maybe trying hexaphasic.
