My husband and I have been on some sort of polyphasic schedule for over a year now. After experimenting with a number of possibilities, I settled into the pattern mentioned above around February. (Nap 23-minutes 4x and sleep 3 hours at night.) I'm mostly consistent most of the time, though I swap to kinda-sorta biphasic for out-of-town trips. Switching back is relatively easy.
My husband's sleeping schedule changes from day to day depending on what he has planned.
There are other polynappers that have been at it for a while, too. (
