I know two people that took the Silva method workshops in different states (these people don't each other) and both of them said they coudln't get it to work. After questioning them, I realized they expected it to be a magical method that would work on the first or second try and when it didn't they were dissapointed.
I had told them they gave up too soon and it takes a while to "groom" your ability to drop into alpha and get it to work. Some people do indeed get results right off the bat, but others have to practice for perhaps months, before it starts to take off.
I haven't taken the Silva workshops but I read most of the books and do like the techniques in them. I think learning to work with the alpha brain-wave state is very important. It can bring out all sorts of wonderful new abilities provided you are patient and willing to practice.
So I do indeed think this method is worth looking into!
