The contradicting part is that there is some element of law of attraction that values a future change. But if you understand the law of attraction, the focus is on creating a present moment internal experience that reflects the desired external experience.
The confusion lies in the idea that I do this process then I'm done. Now I can go back to just relaxing and enjoying the world I've just manifested. This state of being done IS the state of manifesting. If you still feel like you are waiting for something to happen, then that is the vibe you are sending.
As we learn to immediately experience our destination, the outer destination becomes easily available. But, if we really are fully experiencing it, the outer destination becomes irrelevant. To measure how well we are using the law of attraction, just ask ourselves what would change within us if we REALLY had what we wanted. That will show you the block, now unblock it. When we are immediately fully there, without one speck of difference depending on an outside circumstance, then going there inside IS going there outside, that's the fundamental law of attraction. Outside reflects inside. Outside process reflects inside process. Outside difficulty of getting somewhere reflects inside difficulty of getting somewhere.
The law of attraction is a road that can be used to bring people to the present moment. Initially it is used to get what I want, which is wonderful. But eventually the illusory difference between outside and inside is dispelled, leaving one fully present with whatever is here as if it were a personal choice. This "chosen" nature of reality is very important. The alternative is to see oneself as an element of a reality beyond oneself, which leaves one feeling immersed in a reality that is foreign to one's deepest nature.
