Hahahaha . I know the feeling . It's a bit easier to deal with a whale phobia than a bird phobia though, you can wander safely through any city without any of them flying close to you (how debilitating it used to be). Perhaps you've been a whale hunter in a past life and the association is just not doing for you... by the way, I'm in no way making fun, I know too well what a phobia feels like, and how it's very hard to have a sense of humour about it (at least it was for me).
