I love Medieval: Total War, and a recent "mod" (meaning "modification", kind of a game-term for a total overhaul of an existing game for those who don't know) for the later Rome TW is at
Europa Barbarorum. This makes what was IMO a pretty awful game out of the box into a classic for me!
