Don't let Shamou BS you on this one. It can easily be done (ok, not easily... it IS PAINFUL). And if he's willing to put a new Ferrari up for grabs, I'd put my job on hold and travel there to train in front of him and a neutral/expert third party (doctor/physical therapist), and collect the car.
2. Possible, but with the training, you're going to need that sleep.
3. Doable. I'm not sure exactly how because I don't know your background/skills...
4. "Doable" Just put yourself out there, and reel 'em in. (heck, you could even go to one of the friendfinder/alt/... sites if you're just looking for a roll)
5. The hardest part will be deciding which 10.
6. Isn't the personal development what the other 5 are about? For life purpose, you can pick one, but realize that it will evolve over time.
