Whoa. Not remembering dreams is like missing a third of my life. I would die.

But seriously, it is very helpful and even therapeutic to recall your dreams. You dreams can reveal a lot from your subconscious and help you get clarity on what's going on in your life.

If you want to start remembering your dreams, this is a simple method. Set your alarm to wake you in the middle of the night. Maybe 2am. Try to recall what you were dreaming. Think about the dream for a couple of minutes, replaying it in your head. Do this a few times a week (not every night because that would be annoying).

you can also go to sleep saying, "Tonight I'm going to remember my dreams." And I'll bet you remember at least one by morning.

And yes, everyone dreams. 4-6 dreams per night!
