If you want to be sure to accomplish something AND feel good about it, make smaller goals for the first month. Perhaps 10 goals or so.
Do-able goals (for instance loosing a couple of pounds, quit smoking, etc etc).

That will boost your confidence for next months challenges.

Personal development can be a long journey, I'm not sure if you can accomplish that big goals in one month only (but possible).

I accomplished 50% of my goals last month, some of them very small (read some books etc), but it made me feel great and made my confidence grow.

Small steps :-)

EDIT: I'm sorry Aabukar, I just noticed that you have preserved this month for PD goals. I might have read your post a little too quickly.
But I hope that this might help other people too, so I'm leaving it here.
