Hang on, you are talking about passion vs. no passion here, and I was talking about being passionate about something that comes naturally (e.g. for me, it's language and culture) vs. making yourself passionate about things you have no interest in (e.g. for me, it's the stock market). Are you saying my life is boring and meaningless because I am not making myself passionate about things that aren't interesting to me? I think not

Once again, I believe directing your passion is different to making yourself passionate about particular things. Former is about action and growth and development while latter is, as was said here before, unneccessary and fake.
