Well according to my pdoc I have a lesser degree of OCD.. mine does not really cause disruption to my life , so we don't worry about it ,
What I believe has helped with my motivation is working on my attitdues and thoughts, sort of like taking authority overy my mind and making it think what I want it to think, kind of a retraining my brain or reframing my thoughts
ie) lets say I was in a funk... my mood was low , i would start by saying to myself " Just like a bad case of gass , this too shall pass"- so I recognised the problem, but did not let it have authority over me, so instead mood over mind/ it became mind over mood, so the motivation was there, it just needed to be put into practise, NOW I am a very motivated person lol (drives my hubby crazy at times)... lol
what if you were to look at your problem and use the same approach...
ie) you have a resistance built up towards things you dont want to do.. tare the wall of resistance down by recognising it, and the outcome of the downward spiraling effect, make room for new thoughts , the motivation will get stronger (?) for lack of a better term
good luck...
