Default Long post!

Okay, I'm going to tell you all about my experiences with Intention Manifestation, beginning at age 17, and ending now, at age 18.

First off, I never would have heard of it if I hadn't found this book, "Excuse me, your life is waiting" which was lying around my house--my mom bought it for herself but just skimmed it and put it aside. So I read through it, and some sunk in. It helped me raise myself out of a general low mood I had been in.

I started thinking about what I would do after high school. Until now this idea had freaked me out a lot. I didn't have a plan other than I would go to college for sure, and I had good enough grades that I knew I wouldn't have a problem getting in. I knew that my parents had saved up some money, and the state-wide Bright Futures scholarship would cover my tuition, but I didn't know if it would be enough. I knew that I didn't want to work during college if I could help it--I just wanted to concentrate on college. So I didn't officially "intend" to get college paid for, I just had this thought, or visualization: I will be in college, taking classes, not having to worry about money or mooch off my family for money, and having free time to socialize, and have a laptop, maybe as a birthday present before classes start.

At this point I didn't even know where I wanted to go to college, mainly because I didn't know what I wanted to do.

But I just didn't worry about it. Not even purposefully concentrating on good, but more like just expecting the good and ignoring the potential bad.

So it turns out that there would be a standardized test given during senior year, and a percentage would get an award with a possibility of a full scholarship. They didn't tell me what the percentage was--if they had I might have unconsciously rule myself out of the running. I did my best on the test (although I didn't attempt to study for it...) and I found out months later that I was in the running for the award, along with just 3 others in our senior class of 450+.

I ended up getting the award, along with my three classmates, which gave us the leverage to go to any school we wanted to. The others went to Ivies and one to West Point, but I decided to stay in state and got accepted quickly into my first choice school (and the only school I applied to). And as a bonus (or a bribe), I'm getting my education completely free, including a nice new laptop!

And now I am a college student, with everything going smoothly. I've even decided on a major. The college environment is much more conducive to a positive attitude than my hometown, so I'm looking forward to even better things in the future.
