A brief bit of another dream I had...

A relative wanted me to go to India so I could record some music with this new sound, using these Indian instruments (though they weren't actually new and were being done over a computer). I didn't want to go and felt that by going with my sibling (who I assumed would go with me) would put them at risk. I then explained that I would make the music if I still had the equipment, though I could always visit the relative's sister who bought my music software and then record the sound there.

No. It had to be India. Apparently, it was the new thing that was in and people in India were spending mega sums of money to include this sound in their music.

So, I'm at India, and I'm leaving the airport with this Indian man. He seems to be like my guide for the country. Quite like a movie, the view pans back when I exit the airport to show something that's more like an ancient, unusual form of India.

I'm walking along this pathway with this guide, which is like a mini 'Wall of China', and there are lots of other people walking there too. It seems to be the way you have to go before you can still, officially, enter the country.

I ask this guide about the reality of the dangers of this place, and he clarifies that I could end up dying here.

Ahead of me is a large group of these buddhist monks with their hands in prayer, and they're carrying prayer beads. It further reminds me that I'm an outsider to this foreign place, though there is one man like me in front. That man is then stopped by security, who wish to check his passport. Being the foreigner here, I knew security would check me too, so I open my jacket ready to allow him to take my passport from my pocket, which he does. Inside my passport, I have more passport identity photos, which he takes out and makes the point that they should be removed. He investigates my passport, then lets me through.

Anyway, I'm finally getting near the end of the path, when the door knocking wakes me up. It would have been interesting to see where this dream would have taken me. I know the details are minimal, but is there any possible meaning behind this dream?

Personally, I take notice in the fact that I'm leaving my comfort zone into the unknown by walking this path, having to face potential 'dangers' to grow, advance spiritually, reach success, etc. The man removes the images of my 'identity', which involves a page of the same photo - the same ways, same identity, same routine. That to me is the scrapping of the old to pass through.

Uh, wait, I'm interpreting my own dream here... lol. I sort of look at it that way, though, but wonder if I'm missing anything.
