The cat was still hanging around for a while, but eventually made this cat call (I then heard another in the distance), and then it left. |
Hi,
Animals can be quite symbolic in dreams.
Generally dolphins are very positive animals, who possess some of the most harmonious and deep rooted knowledge on the planet (right next to whales). They bring people happiness when they see them, and they have also been rumored to save people when lost at sea. So yes, it's quite a positive sign.

Just don't let your innocent curiosity lead to far more dangerous scenarios or problems in your life. What you may initially perceive as just a passing fancy or sheer wonder, may have some attached dangers you were not initially aware of. The fact that the colors were "black/white/grey" could be directly applied to how some decisions or actions thereof fall into the black areas of life, the white areas of life, or somewhere in between. It's just suggesting it's not specifically limited to any type of area in your life.
The fact that you recognized the danger and immediately resolved it by putting the cat down, is a good sign that you know when to quit.
