I would consider myself, philosophically, to be as close to anarchic libertarian as they come.

So the smoking of hash or the injecting of smack doesnt bother me: If thats what a person wants to do, let them be. As for the benefits in creativity one may experience I cannot say from experience.

However I could probably say, a priori, that along with the biological addiction comes the socio-biological addiction to hedonism through substance alone. For me, like with alcohol, thats where the danger is.

I think that if people cant enjoy and thrive on life without substance enhanced moods, then that is a sorry state to be in.
