I am not US citizen so i can not speak for you, but generally the notion is that you don't have to pay Federal taxes... the only problem is that US is becoming more and more fascist state ("Patriot" act) where "they" (the bankers & military complex) can skin you many times over and turn your life into living hell just for defying their self imposed criminal oligopoly..

BTW don't worry that US is only country with that sorrow state of politics.. we are all in the same ************ because criminals (the real ones who steal billions & trillions) and keep everyone else under forced servitude are in every government echelon..

So my poor "boy" you are in the same ************ with rest of us unless you have brass balls and become one of "them"... even then you must be afraid of "them" and live in the constant fear of being "put away" either in jail cell or cemetery cell block...

So.. be and obedient citizen and pay the taxes...
