I've just had a look at goalsetting1.com, and it is very similar. I think I'd like to focus on the collaborative and community aspects, setting up a community around a trial/experiment. 43things does it pretty well, but doesn't have the same concept of a focussed trial and the ability to formally record results.

Ellesse, I've been thinking about adding goal-setting feature, although my idea was more to do with a system of breaking large goals down into smaller ones than of tracking progress on individual goals. I'll have a think about that and see if I can work it in.
