Stop playing, that alone should be enough. Reducing computer usage (typing in particular) may be necessary as well. You just need to let your hand rest for a while. What has also helped me is wearing a wrist brace/splint to keep the wrist from bending. This speeds up the reduction of swelling in the carpal tunnel. I was able to get braces for both hands at my local CVS, for about $10 each. You should also read about carpal tunnel syndrome to get some idea of what it's all about.
