BrianDrogitis is on a distinguished road
Default Kicking the ciggarette habit.

I have been clean from cigarettes for a good few years now. I went cold turkey. Its still extremely tough at times, not to light up.

I used to be a truck driver and everytime i would get in the truck, i would light up. Long road trips would be the greatest for an extensive amount of smoking. Everytime i would get to the location. i would light up. when i had my coffee in the mornings... well you get the idea.

I think it was more about the routine than the actual enjoyment of the taste. Most smokers light up every 2 hours. The morning and afternoon 10-minute breaks probably exists for the smoker.

I noticed that i would feel the cravings in my jaw (yes, that sounds weird) so what i found to help me "kick the habit" was everytime i needed to light up and i would grab a piece of gum. I would chew the heck out of the gum, especially when i would have a couple drinks with my friends, i could go through a pack of gum in just a couple hours.

So i felt i would share this info with any of you who might have the problems with smoking, in hopes it could help curb the appetite for you.
