Ooops, I'm a bit late in replying but wanted to thank Melchior, Chris and Lakshy for responding to my questions.
Having been a member of a spiritual forum for about 5 years, I'm familiar with discussions about the shift. However, I'm always slightly wary when 'ordinary' things (such as a snuffle or a few sneezes) are put down to The Shift (capital letters intended).
It's not that I don't believe, it's more that I get...hmmm, what's the word...
concerned that some folks jump right in at the deep end and the belief in the Shift can become detrimental to their wellbeing. I guess that's because I saw it in myself some years ago.
As it happens, I've changed considerably in the last 6 years. I'm so much more of 'my own person' and am more aware of my thoughts/feelings/drama.
I suppose what I'm saying is I
hope it's a consciousness shift (for the better). I certainly feel a more rounded grounded person in the last few years...however when I get out in the real world and go do some food shopping, I seriously wonder if we all aren't just fooling ourselves. It saddens me to see so many souls who are tired, angry, depressed, miserable, aggressive, annoyed and so on. Junk food, TV and shouting at each other (even at their own children) seems to be the norm.
Chris - as an aside, I've never surfed in my life! I just like the picture.
