I hope that you can find the basis for his problem, because his symptoms do seem to come from some possible brain or spine disorder of unknown origin, the fact that he goes for these tests first can be lifesaving. They always go for the most obvious causes first. Since a Neurologist is the specialist in problems with nerves, it is of utmost importance that they rule out any serious conditions before going for alternative treatments. That this has been a long term problem, shows that it needs treatment, I wish you the best. Let us know if they find anything. After that, if the Neuro finds nothing, then you can turn to a Chriropractor or other alternatives.
