I have things I have to do. I have to learn and grow in different ways. I may I ask for a husband, but if you could read my energy, you would see that there's a part of me that is holding back.
I think it might be similar for the individual who didn't truly expect for their MBO to happen on their time frame. I don't think that you have to sync up vibrations and really, truly feeeeeeel your request in a LOA sort of way (I like the idea of LOA having multiple vowels for some reason) but I do think you can send mixed signals, whether or not you verbalize them. Like, "I request the most benevolent outcome for me to meet my husband and lover-soulmate and I ask that this outcome be better and more amazing than I could have imagined, but just not right now, finals are coming up, I have to finish university, I barely have the energy to cook dinner after I get home from work, thanks!" or "...and I request this outcome be fulfilled within the next twenty-four hours but I'm not really expecting that this situation clear up right now, maybe later or never, not sure, thanks!" |
This is so true when we make MBO's that we really are not that enthusiastic about. I think in an old newsletter of Tom's he said that our GA's can "read" or guage our intent as we say the MBO. So they know exactly if we really want something or not, even if we have a tendency to lie to ourselves about how much we really want it. Which brings up another good point, and that is to say your MBO's with alot of enthusiasium and excitement, you'll notice you get better results that way. Even saying the "expect great things" mantra, say it with excitement and alot of feeling. Really put your intent behind it.... and then watch things really work out for you.
I like to say MBO's while I'm driving since nobody can hear me. For fun I really put alot of gusto into saying them, and try to feel joyous and excited about their outcome, especially if I'm asking for something big, but really I try to feel this way all the time. So pick times when nobody can hear you and really let it out...lol. When I forget to say them this way, I often have to whisper them when out in public places...(and people must say to themselves.... oh look at that poor man talking to himself...lol) but I don't care... as long as I get it done, MBO's are such a welcome relief!
