Yes, we are talking about he same thing.
I love to hear that you experience funny and weird things, that's in the beginning really exciting when we go dive into LD/AP.
When you think your wake up and everything starts to fade away try this, it's very effective.
Spinning technique:
Spin yourself very fast arround your own axis, you'll most likely land in a bedroom version of the corridor or hopefully in another dream, without a bedroom. It's likely to experience AP through this.
I made a picture to illustrate it.
The corridor is more or less without an ending.
Your jump more or less randomly through the rooms - it seems to have a bit of certain probability where you go, but I don't know if it's true for everyone, so just basic information.
The rooms are made by your subconsious on the Lucid-Side and on the Astral-side more of the real appearance - in the RTZ it's actually the real room.
On the lucid side it has seemingly random elements from your subconsious, that you know from somewhere, it feels very common though you'll never saw it this way.
It is here likely that you fall here asleep inside the dream or think you are awake and actually sleeping. You can go there into different layers, but not necessarly linearly waking up from them. The deeper you go in "levels" the weirder it seems to get. Few nights ago I encountered some very odd like deepsea creatures looking entities near my bed, which I examined before waking up, couldn't resist

On this side you encounter dream persons you can talk to, mostly do you get here more or less important messages direclty form your subconscious.
On the astral side, you encounter very likely other beings, you can have very interesting visits. Many false awakenings are experienced here, you can have sometimes more than one false awakening.
On both sides it's possible to attract something when you have fear, but you will never have trouble unless you are really recklessly trying to get trouble.
Even then the trouble is just energetically.
